El propósito de la Asociación de Estudios de Género y Sexualidades (AEGS, previamente AILCFH)* es fomentar el estudio de la literatura hispánica (española, hispanoamericana, luso-brasileña, afro-latinoamericana, US latina) escrita por mujeres. La Asociación ofrecerá la oportunidad para la presentación de ponencias, a través de su congreso anual que servirá de foro para el intercambio profesional, y para la divulgación de la investigación, por medio su órgano oficial, la revista académica, Letras Femeninas (http://www.letrasfemeninas.org).
