| Estimada membresía, Recuerden que ya están abiertas las inscripciones para el congreso de la AILCFH en Claremont Colleges. Las inscripciones para la conferencia pueden hacerse Online hasta el 10 de septiembre con el costo reducido. No olviden hacer las reservas para hotel y transporte con anticipación. Mensaje del comité organizador: En preparación para su asistencia al congreso tengan en cuenta los siguientes datos: 1) Registro: Si no ha registrado todavía para la AILCFH en los Claremont Colleges, tiene hasta el 10 de septiembre para aprovechar la tasa reducida. A partir del 10 de septiembre, la registración será $120/profesionales y $60/estudiantes. 2) Alojamiento: A partir del 10 de septiembre no será posible recibir la tasa del Congreso con el Doubletree Hotel ($115/noche). Pedimos que reserve su alojamiento pronto. 3) El programa del congreso ha sido finalizado y la semana próxima lo encontrará el sitio de web. Como es de esperar, ha sido necesario por razones de logística mover algunos paneles a días y horas distintas. Adjuntamos una copia aquí. 4) Mentoring Session. Hay una sessión de consejos profesionales ("The Intracacies of Negotiating the Profession") el sábado, 12 de octubre desde 12:30-2:15pm. Tenemos la capacidad de proveer el almuerzo gratis (sandwich, bebida, fruta), pero necesitaremos saber cuántas personas intentan asistir a la sesión. 5) El almuerzo (jueves) y la cena de clausura (el sábado). Otros mensajes de interés: Hope College Mod & Classical Langs, Holland, Michigan 49423 Assistant/Associate Professor of Spanish (tenure track) Hope College seeks a dynamic teacher and scholar to fill a tenure track position for Assistant or Associate Professor in Spanish. Native or near native fluency in Spanish and English are expected. Qualified applicants should be enthusiastic about undergraduate teaching and should be prepared to teach a seminar on Medieval and Golden Age Spanish literature, as well as sharing responsibility for all levels of Spanish language courses and contributing to the General Education Curriculum. Teaching load: Three four credit courses per semester. Training and experience in Technology-Enhanced Language Learning will significantly enhance an applicant's standing, as will additional specialization in an interdisciplinary field such as film studies, service learning, urban studies or theater. We seek and support demonstrated commitment to scholarship, as well as clear enthusiasm for teaching undergraduates in both departmental and general education courses. Rank and salary are dependent upon qualifications and experience. Preferred candidates will have Ph.D. in hand by August 2014.
