| Circular 4.2 abril, 2009-04-27 AILCFH Colegas, Completado el plazo de votaciones por los diferentes puestos del ejecutivo, los resultados de dichas elecciones se pueden comprobar en la sección de VOTACIONES de echapters (http://ailcfh.echapters.com/), no obstante, incluyo en esta circular el desglose de las mismas. En nombre del comité ejecutivo, agradezco a todas las personas que completaron su votación por su colaboración en este proceso necesario y fundamental de la Asociación. También quiero felicitar a las candidatas que resultaron elegidas por mayoría simple, así como agradecer a las/los demás candidatas/os que estuvieron dispuestas/os a tomar parte activa en el gobierno de la Asociación. Os animo a que os volváis a presentar a estos cargos en dos años. Os recuerdo que el plazo para enviar propuestas para comunicados durante el próximo congreso de la Asociación que se celebrará entre el 1 y el 3 de octubre en Quito, Ecuador se cumple el 10 de mayo. Podéis revisar la convocatoria en el sitio oficial del congreso: http://www.flacso.org.ec/html/cong_literatura.html Finalmente quiero insistir en que actualicéis vuestras direcciones postales en echapters. La editora de Letras Femeninas usará la listas de echapters para enviar el próximo número de la revista. Quienes no tengan su dirección postal correcta o incluida en echapters, no recibirá la revista. Espero que terminéis bien el semestre y con él el año académico. Universidad de Puerto Rico. The ¿Del otro la’o? colloquium is an (inter)national space for dialogue and debate relating to queer sexualities, also known as GLBTT. For this edition of the colloquium, we are seeking papers on the following: panels, round tables, workshops and other artistic and performing activities. For more information, please visit our website at: http://www.delotrolao.org COLABORACIONES ------------------------------------------- 1) Volume XXV (2009) of MONOGRAPHIC REVIEW/REVISTA MONOGRÁFICA will treat the theme of: KITSCH, CURSI, "HIGH" AND "LOW" AND OTHER FASHIONS IN HISPANIC LITERATURE Volume XXV of Monographic Review will be devoted to the topic of Fashion or Fashions, surveying their changing manifestations across history, especially as represented in Hispanic literature, and examining these in such forms as “Kitsch,” “Cursi,” “High Fashion” and the revolts against or rejections of officially imposed fashions. Literary representations of how fashions change, their social significance, the moral virtues or failures symbolized by specific fashion trends, or generational differences and their impact on fashions. Certain writers have given particular attention to fashion—Galdós and Lorca come immediately to mind—and the topic is well represented in costumbrista writings where regional and/or national costumes are prominent and acquire varied symbolic and socio-political resonances. MONOGRAPHIC REVIEW/REVISTA MONOGRÁFICA invites papers of 12-15 pages on this topic. The papers should be prepared according to MLA format and the Monographic Review style sheet, submitted in hard copy and a high density diskette, with a 250-word abstract. Un deseo propio: Antología escritoras españolas contemporáneas (Barcelona: Bruguera, 2009) A partir de los años sesenta, varias autoras españolas aun sin intentar escribir 'relatos lesbianos' per se, decidieron integrar en el universo de sus mundos creativos historias de mujeres que amaban a otras mujeres a pesar del rechazo generalizado que la expresión de dicho deseo recibía en este período en España. Sus textos ofrecieron sin planteárselo los primeros modelos literarios de representación de una identidad, de una experiencia y de un deseo que ansiaba encontrar un espacio propio para ser expresado. Autoras como Montserrat Roig, Marta Pessarrodona, Ana María Moix, Esther Tusquets, Carme Riera, Marina Mayoral y Cristina Peri Rossi, manifestando en sus obras que 'el cuerpo de una mujer es mucho más poético', otorgaron a la mujer la capacidad de ser agente de su deseo al tiempo que establecían los prolegómenos estéticos para el desarrollo de la expresión en literatura de un deseo lesbiano por parte de escritoras como Flavia Company, Isabel Franc, Thais Morales, Mabel Galán y Jennifer Quiles. Los catorce relatos aquí reunidos constituyen la mejor muestra del desarrollo creativo de un deseo propio a lo largo de las últimas décadas de la literatura peninsular. | ||
