| Circular 4.1 abril 2009 AILCFH Estimada membresía, Llega el momento de expresar nuestra voz seleccionando a quienes ocuparán los diferentes puestos del ejecutivo durante los 2 ó 5 próximos años. Os pido a todas y a todas que no perdáis la oportunidad de hacer efectivo el derecho que tenemos cada una y cada uno de contribuir al futuro de la Asociación. Incluso aquellas y aquellos de vosotras y vosotros que no os sintáis inclinadas e inclinados por una de las candidatas a cada puesto, os ruego que votéis al menos ME ABSTENGO para la candidatura oportuna y así demostrar que vuestra voz no es una voz silenciada por la falta de participación. Que nuestras futuras líderes y representantes sepan que sus decisiones están avaladas por nuestro opinión y respeto por la Asociación. Incluyo después de la información sobre las candidaturas, información pertinente a Anuncios, Colaboraciones y Congresos. Un saludo, Inma Pertusa Secretaria AILCFH ELECCIONES PARA LOS DIFERENTES PUESTOS DEL EJECUTIVO Trascurrido el periodo de servicio de cada uno de los puestos del ejecutivo, la Asociación convoca elecciones generales para dichos puestos. Todas las personas que hasta la fecha hayan pagado la membresía de este año 2009 tienen el derecho de votar por los diferentes cargos. El plazo para proceder a la votación es entre el 7 de abril y el 14 de abril, cerrándose los comicios el 14 de abril a las 12:00 CT. Las instrucciones para proceder a la votación se enviarán mañana 6 de abril a cada miembro activo. Con las instrucciones se facilitará así mismo los textos de las postulaciones de cada candidata a cada puesto. A continuación adelanto el nombre de cada candidata para cada cargo. I will be taking part in a Group Study Exchange Program in Peru sponsored by Rotary International. We will be in Northern Peru (Cajamarca, Trujillo, Chiclayo, etc), but will probably also spend a few days in Lima. The trip will take place during the entire month of May. Each session will be devoted to the discussion of one author followed by a free-writing practice exercise based on the teachings of Natalie Goldberg. You will be given tools to break through resistance, silence the censor within and spark your unique creative capacity. You will master the basic techniques to embark on the narration of your own life story or any other piece of creative nonfiction. Matz and Carole Salmon, University of Massachusetts Lowell Objective of the Book: The major objective of the proposed collection of essays on Pedro Almodovar is to provide a collection of multidisciplinary academic research and theoretical papers written by scholars and professionals of varied backgrounds. Submission procedure: Potential authors should submit between 300-500 words proposal (Spanish or English) with a short reference list and a short bio by June 30th , 2009. This proposal should clearly state the objectives of the essay and its content. Submissions should be made electronically in Microsoft Word. Authors of accepted proposals will be notified by August 1st ,2009. Upon acceptance of their proposals, authors will have until November 15th ,2009 to submit their essay following the given format (maximum 20 pages including bibliography). All submitted essays will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Guidelines for preparing the essays will be sent upon acceptance of proposals. Publication: This book has been accepted for publication by The Edwin Mellen Press. Es una monografía sobre la obra cinematográfica de Pedro Almodóvar que publicará la editorial Edwin Mellen Press. Los interesados/as deben enviar su propuesta antes del 30 de junio del 2009. Deben ser trabajos originales en español o inglés, no publicados anteriormente. Esta incluirá los siguientes datos: un resumen de su trabajo en inglés o español (300-500 palabras), una breve bibliografía y, igualmente, se adjuntará una breve bio del autor/a.
