I. JOB POSTINGS
Assistant Professor of Spanish: Tenure-track position beginning August, 2012. Ph.D. in Spanish in hand by time of appointment. Specialist in Applied Linguistics. Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English required. Position requires ability to train and coordinate teaching assistants as well as potential secondary teachers, and to develop learning methodologies and technology. Strong research output in the field and excellence in teaching as demonstrated by student and supervisor evaluations. Duties will include teaching language and linguistics courses at all levels both in the undergraduate and graduate programs.

Applicants must upload a cover letter indicating their teaching skills/philosophy, current CV, unofficial transcript, the email addresses for three references to be contacted to submit letters of recommendation, and recent student and supervisor evaluations (2010-2011) at http://workforum.memphis.edu.

Duties will include teaching courses at all levels both in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Ability to teach translation courses a plus.
